About: Sarah currently serves as VP of Finance at StrategicSource. Prior to joining the team, she spent 10 years at Wegmans Food Markets in Operations Accounting — gaining a front-row seat to the financial and operational complexities of a large, people-driven organization and developing the cross-functional mindset she brings to her work today. Before that, she built a strong technical foundation in public accounting at KPMG, where she honed her accounting skills and developed the discipline, attention to detail, and professional standards that have guided her career ever since. Sarah holds an MBA and Master’s in Accounting from the Simon School of Business at the University of Rochester, and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance from St. Bonaventure University.
Role at StrategicSource: As Vice President of Finance, Sarah oversees the full spectrum of internal operations, including accounting, financial systems and human resources. She leads initiatives to modernize and streamline core business systems while managing the day-to-day integrity of financial data and employee operations.
Beyond the Office: Outside of working for StrategicSource, Sarah loves to spend time with her family. She lives outside of Rochester, NY with her husband, three girls, and two dogs. Sarah also enjoys traveling, trying new things, and embracing every adventure that comes her way. One fun fact about Sarah is that she is working toward becoming an ‘Adirondack 46er’ (hiking all 46 high peaks in the Adirondack Mountains). She’s conquered 30 of them so far. Hiking the high peaks has taught her a lot about patience, persistence, and the value of a really good trail mix.
