Huffines Automotive was seeking an efficient way to leverage their services and supplies as a group rather than 8 separate operations. They wanted to ease the AP process and utilize their leverage – thus reducing strain on staff as well as reducing expenses.
StrategicSource partnered with Huffines in September 2008, utilizing a Strategic Spend Analysis to determine supplier redundancies, price competitiveness, and the common (and unique) processes of each store. With this information gathered, StrategicSource was able to provide a centralized purchasing function that offered substantial savings in categories that could be satisfied with a single solution, while also being flexible to develop solutions at the store-level when necessary.
